- Identify a direct exit path before interacting with an egg.
- Wait for a clear route instead of improvising after pickup.
- Protect your own economy; your eggs can also be targeted.
Why Speed matters
The official game page explicitly connects treadmill training with gaining Speed. That makes Speed the clearest verified preparation stat for a stealing route. It does not prove a specific upgrade level guarantees success.
Use short information runs
On an unfamiliar server, learn distance and timing before targeting the rarest-looking egg. A failed low-commitment run costs less information than a long route built on a false assumption.
About guards and defenses
We have not published fixed guard routes, detection ranges or stun durations because those values are not present in the official metadata snapshot and may change by patch. Any precise number should include a dated in-game test.
What to upgrade first
The correct order depends on costs and scaling that still need verification. A reasonable mechanic-level priority is: maintain enough pet income to keep upgrading, then improve the treadmill and Speed until stealing runs become controllable, while upgrading the base to protect the loop.
After the run
Record which pet or source produced the egg, the displayed label, and the patch date. That evidence is more useful than assigning a guessed hatch chance. See the all-eggs index standard.
