Steal An Egg gameplay evidence
Steal An Egg mutations — current answerMutations are an official mechanic, but Roblox does not publish a complete multiplier table. Community pages currently disagree: older guides report one set of values, while a September 11 source describes a seven-mutation source-described v490 catalog with different scalars. Use the controlled pair test below; every configuration number remains a dated third-party reference until reproduced in current gameplay.

The reference model applies the dated size curve, additive mutation factors and rounding sequence. Use the live displayed income for the final team decision.

CONTROLLED BEFORE / AFTER TEST

Test one mutation pair

Compare the same species at nearly the same weight. Inputs stay in this page until you copy the evidence packet.

Need a format example? The example is labeled and is not game evidence.
OBSERVED RATIO = AFTER INCOME / BEFORE INCOME—

Enter a controlled pair, then evaluate it.

Weight, upgrades and boosts can change income independently of mutation.

Community configuration reference under test

The following values are useful hypotheses for controlled tests. The source says they come from a v490 catalog and client-function export; neither artifact is a creator-published patch note, so this table is not promoted to Verified.

Reference checked September 15, 2026: Combined mutation factor = 1 + sum of each bonus above 1. Ordinary roll weights describe the source's baseline table, not guaranteed player outcomes. Inspect the dated source ↗

How mutation stacking is modeled

The source-described formula adds each bonus above 1: 1 + Σ(scalar − 1). It does not multiply every scalar together. These examples are transparent test hypotheses, not verified live-game outcomes.

The frame shows a Crane labeled Epic with a displayed $8K/s rate.

This instance rate does not establish base income or whether the Crane is consumed.

The panel shows 0% charge, a 100% unlock threshold, a 150% maximum, and Bloom 97.5% / Spirit Bloom 2.5% labels.

The image does not show the outcome at 150%. A guaranteed Spirit Bloom result remains unconfirmed.

The chest panel labels its final reward Parasite Egg at 1.5%, with a guaranteed Parasite mutation note.

The original wording is retained. It does not resolve the conflicting Monstrous name or confirm the current reward pool.

Community mutation claims compared

This table records what current third-party guides claim; it is not an official multiplier table. Agreement can prioritize a test, but only readable game UI or a controlled before-and-after comparison can move a value into the verified column.

Readable in-game mutation field

The BIG Mosasaurus Steal DNA panel includes a visible MUTATIONS field and a gray icon. This proves that a captured result can expose a mutation slot in the result UI. The icon is not accompanied by a readable type name, so this wiki does not label it Stone, Rock, Gray or any other guessed mutation.

What the official material supports

  • The game description explicitly says players can discover mutations.
  • Mutations are listed alongside eggs, pets and sizes, suggesting a separate attribute.
  • An official thumbnail shows a rainbow-gradient egg with a snowflake symbol and altered text.

What the artwork does not prove

A snowflake icon may indicate an ice-themed variant, and the rainbow shell may indicate another property—but a promotional image is not enough to name the mutation, define the effect or assign a multiplier. We preserve the visual as evidence and leave the mechanics open.

How to verify a mutation multiplier

  1. Record the unmutated pet’s exact displayed income, rarity and size.
  2. Record the mutated version of the same base pet with upgrades and server state unchanged.
  3. Divide mutated income by base income and keep both screenshots with the patch date.
  4. Repeat the comparison on a second pet before treating the ratio as a general multiplier.

Use the income calculator to compare the two displayed values without turning one community observation into a universal rule.

Do not borrow mutation lists

Mutation names from other Roblox collection games are not automatically valid here. We will not publish a familiar-sounding list simply because another game uses Golden, Rainbow, Ice or similar labels.
